Hurt People Hurt People

I was told this fact years ago and didn't understand it ... until a person greatly hurt me, and the Lord revealed to me that this person had been hurt so badly that they couldn't resist hurting others. In listening to this song today, after today's reading, I realize that even the uber-evil Haman was a man so hurt by SOMETHING in his life that, upon discovering that one meaningless man wasn't going out of his way to honor him, he constructed a plan to kill an entire people-group, paying $381 million(!) for the right to do so.

Here is the takeaway ... God's love will heal our hearts! Everyone fights a battle, and those of us with the love of God within us must accept the idea that "life bruises unequal". It is up to us to stop the cycle and forgive, even when it isn't asked for. Grace where grace is needed!!
